We have made the very difficult decision to close our Argos stores and online operations in the Republic of Ireland by 24 June 2023. You can still use our Click and Collect service on argos.ie until our stores have closed and our home delivery service will still be taking orders until Wednesday 22 March.
After 22 March, our home delivery service will no longer be available. This means that larger items which are currently only available through our home delivery service, such as sofas, beds and large kitchen appliances will no longer be sold by Argos in the Republic of Ireland. All home delivery orders placed before 23 March will be honoured. Customers will still be able to order small items via our Click and Collect service until stores close.
Argos stores will remain open to customers in the Republic of Ireland until 24 June 2023 except for a small number of stores, which will close slightly earlier due to lease terms:
If you are not satisfied with a purchase, our existing aftersales, returns, refunds and exchanges policy will continue to apply until our stores close. You can find more information about how this policy will continue in line with our statutory obligations after our stores close in the FAQs below.
Gift Cards:

What if I need to return an item after you've closed?
If you are not satisfied with a purchase, our existing aftersales, returns, refunds and exchanges policy will continue to apply until our stores close. Can I purchase Argos gift cards online?

What do I do with unused Gift cards after you have closed?
We encourage customers to spend any Argos Euro Gift cards with us before stores close on 24 June. We'll be sharing more details about what to do with any unspent gift cards after this date soon.

Can I still order for Home delivery?
Yes. You can continue to select home delivery for your order until 22 March 2023.
Will I still be able to claim on my Argos Monthly Care Policy?
Yes, the process for claiming on monthly care will continue as normal, simply call one of our friendly agents on 1800 911 721. Please have your policy number and postcode to hand. There will be no change to this process once we close our stores.
I would like to cancel my Argos Monthly Care Policy - how do I do this?
Your Argos Monthly Care Policy will continue and will not be affected by this announcement; however, you are free to cancel your policy at any time. You can cancel your policy by using the cancellation form on this website: www.domesticandgeneral.com or by contacting Domestic and General on 1800 911 721.
Alternatively, you can write to Domestic & General Insurance Europe AG, Leicester House, 17 Leicester Street, Bedworth, Warwickshire CV12 8JP, United Kingdom, advising that you wish to cancel your policy and providing your policy number and postcode.
Will I still be able to claim on my Argos Replacement Care or Jewellery and Watch Care?
You can continue to make a claim in store until the 24 June 2023. Please return to the store with your product, and the receipts for both your policy and your product.
After the 24 June 2023 you will not be able to claim in store. We are finalising a process for you to claim without the need to visit a store and will be updating this website with details of that process well before stores close.
I would like to cancel my Argos Replacement Care or Jewellery and Watch Care - how do I do this?
If you wish to cancel your Replacement Product Care or Jewellery & Watch Care policy within 45 days of purchase, please return to the store with your documentation and receipt. To cancel your policy after the first 45 days, please use the cancellation form on our website www.domesticandgeneral.com or write to Domestic & General Insurance Europe AG, Leicester House, 17 Leicester Street, Bedworth, Warwickshire CV12 8JP, United Kingdom. Alternatively, you can click on 'contact us' at www.domesticandgeneral.com. You will need to send in your documentation, receipts and contact details.

You can save time by checking stock at your local store. Click the drop down menu on the product page beside 'Check stock in your area ' to choose your favourite store. Click 'Go' and we'll confirm stock availability at that store. Simply click on 'Buy or Reserve' then 'Reserve' on your desired store pickup. Enter your details and click 'Reservation'. An email / text will be sent to you confirming your reservation and dates to be collected.
As part of our commitment to low prices, we check prices every week and drop hundreds every month! If you reserve an item, the price you pay in-store is the price you reserved the item at.
Special offers are displayed in red under items, e.g. 2 for 20. If you reserve an item, the price you pay in-store is the price you reserved the item at.
Gift vouchers or gift cards cannot be redeemed online at present but if you reserve for store pick up, you can use them to pay when collecting your item(s) in-store.

We accept lots of different payment methods online and in-store. For more information on which ones you can use whilst shopping, visit our payment types page.
If you need a VAT receipt and your order number begins with '700' please email us at small.items@argos.ie. For everything else, you will need to return to store with your receipt for your VAT receipt.
Once you've made your purchase, you'll see an acknowledgement on the screen with a reference number. You can also request an email confirmation. Please take a copy of this reference number when you collect your items.

You can go back and add more items to your basket until you complete your reservation. Once your reservation is confirmed, you cannot add items to the same reservation.
Home delivery is available on many items, big and small. Simply choose home delivery as an option when you get to the checkout.

All Gift Cards purchased from Argos in the Republic of Ireland have a 5 year expiry. This includes both Argos Gift Cards and all other gift cards sold by Argos.
If you order small and large items together they are still likely to be delivered separately. Don't worry, you will only have to pay one delivery charge. For more information, check your order confirmation email.
