What is "My Account"?

Fancy saving time when you visit Argos.ie next? Registering with us will make your online shopping even quicker and easier!

Once you've set up an account, you can access all your details by clicking the 'My account' link at the top of every page.

Registering your account

How do I register a new account?

Registering a new account is quick and easy. All we need is your email address, a password and a security question (in case you ever forget your password).

'Remember me'?

When you register an account, you have the option to select 'remember me'. This will keep your email address saved on the My Account sign-in page of that computer, so you just need to fill your password to log in. We wouldn't recommend selecting this option on a public computer as people will be able to see your email address (but no other account details).

Signing out of my account

Once you've finished shopping, sign out to prevent anyone else who uses that computer from seeing your account details. There'll be the option to sign out in the top right corner of every page. We'll automatically sign you out when you close your browser, or if your browser is inactive for 60 minutes.

How do I change my account details?

To make the most of all the benefits of having an Argos.ie account, make sure you keep your personal details up-to-date.

You can update your details at any time by clicking 'My account' at the top of each page.
There you can change your email address, update your password, alter your email preferences and amend your favourite store.

Forgotten your password

If you've forgotten your password you can reset by entering your email address and clicking the 'Forgot your password?' link on the sign in page. There'll be just a couple of steps to confirm your identify and you'll be able to reset your password.

Is it you?

If you, or someone who uses the same computer, has selected the 'remember me' option, we'll show a personalised 'hello' whenever you visit the site. If this isn't you, click 'sign out' and you can log in with your details.

Are my account details secure?

Your account is password protected, so no one else can see your details. We recommend that you log out or close the browser when you have finished shopping on Argos.ie, especially if you use a public or shared PC.

Why has my account been locked?

If you enter too many incorrect passwords, we may 'lock' your account to protect your data. If this happens we'll let you know that your account is locked when you try to sign in. Click the 'forgot your password' link and we'll send you an email with a link to your security question. Give your answer to confirm your identity and you'll be able to unlock your account by resetting your password.

If you no longer have access to the email address you used when creating your account, you'll need to create a new account with your new email address.
